Back to Siliguri

In the morning we woke up to the sound of rain, and we were told that the road that we came on yesterday is closed due to the weather. We finished the immigration formalities and entered India on our way to Siliguri.

Although we have seen many animals on the road in India we didn't see any elephants until today. It was nice to complete our experience.

On the way Husain noticed that the rear mudguard on my bike was loose. When we stopped we found out the one of the bolts holding the mudguard was sheared off.

We removed the mudguard and continued on our way to Siliguri, when we got close to the hotel we were escorted by a group of bikers who are part of the xkmph Motorcycle Club. At the hotel we stopped and talked to them, they also offered to help fix the mudguard on my bike since they know all the good workshops in town.



Later in the day a reporter from The Telegraph interviewed us , and we took a group photo.
